Tennessee enters this division battle off a huge upset win in overtime at Seattle and this will be a tough spot for head coach Mike Vrabel and his players.
Off a pair of season-opening home losses to the Seahawks and Rams, the Horseshoes need this victory like blood. Historically speaking, Indy has played very well in this series inking a strong 28-8 SU and 21-13-2 ATS record in the last 36 meetings. In this run facing a Titans team that checks in off a straight up win, the Colts improve to a solid 10-2 SU and ATS. Equally impressive, since 1986, game three division road dogs hold a lucrative 22-9-1 ATS mark provided they opened the season off back-to-back home games. In this situation tackling an opponent that played on the road in their last game, our guest improves to a healthy 15-4 ATS. That bodes well for the Colts.
This is not the best wagering spot for the Titans either. At home arriving with confidence off a straight up win, Tennessee has been a poor investment notching a dismal 13-28-1 ATS record including a miserable 10-28 ATS if it is running without rest. With those two parameters live and Coach Vrabel’s boys taking the field off a non-division contest, this situation crumbles to a woeful 5-22 ATS including a horrendous 1-19 ATS it their opponent scoots in off a non-division battle as well. (Make that 0-19 ATS if our host is priced as a favorite or an underdog of +6 or less!)
