#846 ILLINOIS (-) over Iowa at 7 PM EST
After ripping off four consecutive straight up wins, Illinois (+5′) slipped at Ohio State in its last contest. Off that blemish, the Fighting Illini will be ready to go when the Hawkeyes visit on Sunday. In case you forgot, Iowa (-4) hosted Illinois back on February 2nd and walked off the floor with a solid 72-65 win and cover. This one will be all about revenge for head coach Brad Underwood and his men.

The fact that this game is being played in the State Farm Center is huge for the Illini. At home running the court in a same season single revenge mode, Illinois has posted a respectable 38-24 SU and 35-26-1 ATS record. In this role holding a team won/loss percentage of .600 or better, the Fighting Illini have been at their financial best inking a fabulous 29-9 SU and 27-11 ATS mark including 21-8 SU and 23-6 ATS provided Coach Underwood’s men are not favored by -9 points or more.

If you want to wager against the Hawkeyes with any success, simply do it when Iowa is competing in a true road game. As a guest, head coach Fran McCaffery’s kids hold a surprising 15-33 SU and 14-33-1 ATS record in their last 48 battles including a woeful 4-15 SU and ATS provided they take the court off a straight up loss. With those two parameters in play and the Hawkeyes matched up against an opponent that carries a team won/loss percentage of .650 or better, this technical situation falls to a jaw-dropping 0-8 SU and ATS. Please note: Those eight losses came by an average of 15.1 points per game. That spells trouble for Iowa.

With a win today, Coach Underwood and his boys will earn a double-bye in the upcoming Big 10 Tournament. That is absolutely huge! On Senior Night, look for starting guard Andres Feliz to help key this important win and cover for the home team. Take Illinois. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
