#792 MARQUETTE (-6′) over UConn at 8 PM EST
You can bet your last buck that Marquette had this date circled in red on its calendar when the 2024-25 schedule was posted. Last year, the Golden Eagles inked a frustrating 0-3 SU and ATS mark in their series against the Huskies and to say MU wants a little revenge would be an understatement.

Actually, in the last 10 meetings between these two Big East foes, Marquette has struggled notching a weak 2-8 SU and ATS record. Thankfully, the Golden Eagles are in the middle of a blistering 73-20 SU and 54-38-1 ATS run in their last 93 games including a phenomenal 45-10 SU and 33-21-1 ATS provided they stroll in off a conference game. With those two parameters live and head coach Shaka Smart and his troops priced competitively between +2.5 and -9.5, this team trend skyrockets to a blistering 25-2 SU and 20-6-1 ATS. Finally, in its own backyard priced as an underdog or a short favorite of -8 or less, MU sports a sensational 17-2 SU and 16-3 ATS tally in its last 19 tries.

It’s never easy going against skipper Dan Hurley and the Huskies. But, in its last seven games, Connecticut has looked beatable inking a 4-3 SU and 1-6 ATS record. To make matters worse, since February 10th, 2024, Big East road teams that are competing against a conference foe that enters with momentum off a straight up win hold a rough 10-36 SU and 17-28-1 ATS record including a shocking 3-21 SU and 4-20 ATS if they are priced competitively between -4 and +9 points. Lastly, as a road dog checking in off a pointspread loss, UConn owns a pitiful 6-24 SU and 10-20 ATS mark including a woeful 1-10 SU and 2-9 ATS provided the Huskies hit the hardwood off a straight up victory.

Currently tied with the Red Storm for the top spot in the Big East standings, the Golden Eagles will pick up their sweet revenge and keep their conference crown hopes alive with a solid performance here. Take Marquette. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
