Tom Stryker’s Free Football Play October 13th

TOM STRYKER’S FREE FOOTBALL SELECTION FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13TH

#124 COLORADO (-11′) over Stanford at 10 PM EST
Resting with a 4-2 SU record through the first six games, the Buffaloes sure would like to pick up a win here to help with their bowl aspirations. Colorado closes with tough conference games against UCLA, Oregon State, Arizona, Washington State, and Utah, and they’ll need to get to six wins in order to make it to the postseason.

History will certainly be on the CU side. In the last three meetings against the Cardinal, head coach Deion Sanders and his troops have inked a solid 3-0 SU and ATS record. There is a strong conference trend that backs this investment as well. Since October 16th, 2021, Pac-12 home teams own a remarkable 64-42 SU and 67-39 ATS provided they are lined up against a conference opponent. If our “play on” side is priced reasonably as a favorite of -21 or less, this Pac-12 situation improves to a solid 41-5 SU and 35-11 ATS including an outstanding 36-2 SU and 31-7 ATS provided they are not rolling with rest. That bodes well for the Buffs.

Clinging to a woeful 14-32 SU and 12-32 ATS record in its last 46 games, Stanford is certainly a team that can be easily defeated. In this horrible run taking the field without confidence off a SU and ATS loss, the Cardinal falls to a miserable 5-20 SU and 4-20 ATS including an ugly 0-10 SU and 0-9 ATS provided they bust in off a blowout loss of 19 points or more. Please note: Those 10 blemishes came by an average of 19.4 points per game. Also, in their last nine on the conference road, The Tree owns a nasty 0-9 SU and ATS mark and has lost by an average of 21.2 points per game.

Coach Sanders says his team hasn’t competed for a full 60 minutes since upsetting the Horned Frogs in the season opener. Matched up against a Cardinal squad that is still a work in progress under first-year skipper Troy Taylor, Prime’s players will be in control from start to finish here. Take Colorado. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
