#680 WESTERN CAROLINA (-10′) over VMI at 4 PM EST
Off the loss at UNCG, Western Carolina will return home to the friendly confines of the Ramsey Center and send its seniors off in a big way with a blowout win and cover over VMI. The Keydets enter this SoCon battle off a shocking home upset win over the Terriers and they’ll get a quick reality check here.

According to the History Book, the Catamounts have enjoyed a small edge in this series inking a 3-1 SU and 3-0-1 ATS mark in the last four meetings. In addition, when priced as a home favorite and taking the floor off a blowout loss of 10 points or more, WCU has been worth the financial risk posting a proud 31-8 SU and 25-13-1 ATS record including an elite 23-5 SU and 19-8-1 ATS provided they were on the road last. Finally, when facing an opponent that owns a team won/loss percentage less than .580, the Catamounts hold a respectable 22-11 ATS record in their last 33 lined games.

Kudos to VMI for pulling off the upset on Senior Night over Wofford. However, off that straight up underdog victory, the Keydets will get creamed here. In its last 34 games, VMI has really struggled posting a feeble 7-27 SU and 13-18 ATS record. In this situation fighting a conference foe, head coach Andrew Wilson and his kids fall to a miserable 2-18 SU and 7-13 ATS. To make matters worse, the Keydets are one of the greenest squads in all of college basketball with five freshmen in the starting lineup all averaging over 20 minutes per game.

Defensively, VMI has been hammered for an average of 76.0 points per game and the Keydets will have trouble stopping an angry WCU bunch that tickles the twine for an average of 74.1 points per game. Take Western Carolina. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
