TOM STRYKER’S FREE BASKETBALL SELECTION FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH

#894 NEVADA (-8′) over Fresno St at 11 PM EST
On red-hot roll off three consecutive SU and ATS wins over San Diego State, Air Force, and New Mexico, Nevada will stay in the hunt for the MWC title with a solid performance over visiting Fresno State. The Wolf Pack are a game behind the Aztecs in the conference standings and they need this victory in order to keep pace.

In the last meeting between these two schools back on February 4th, 2022, head coach Steve Alford and his kids traveled to Fresno as a 10-point underdog and got absolutely smashed 73-56. Even with that blemish, Nevada still holds a powerful 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS mark in the last 10 battles and the Wolf Pack will be ready for this huge revenge opportunity. In case you haven’t been paying attention, since March 1st, 2022, Nevada has been playing solid ball inking a reliable 20-9 SU and 19-8 ATS record including a profitable 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS if it is favored by -4 or more. Finally, at home running in a payback mode and arriving with momentum off a straight up win, the Wolf Pack hold a money-making 51-22 SU and 48-25 ATS mark including an elite 27-1 SU and 24-4 ATS provided they are favored by -6.5 or more.

Off a pair of SU and ATS victories over UNLV and San Jose State, Fresno State will get a quick reality check here. Even with those wins, the Bulldogs are on a soft 14-15 SU and 10-18 ATS run in their last 29 games. Also, as a single-digit underdog, head coach Justin Hutson’s boys own a weak 9-35 SU and 17-26-1 ATS mark including a stiff 2-17 SU and 4-14-1 ATS if they are priced at +4 or more. With those two parameters in play and Fresno checking in off a conference game, this team trend falls to a disturbing 0-10 SU and 1-9 ATS. That spells trouble for the Bulldogs.

With three of their final four games on the road, the Wolf Pack will make sure they take care of business in this battle in their own backyard. Take Nevada. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
