#928 TEXAS with Otto (+110) over Seattle with Flexen at 2:35 PM EST
Off three consecutive losses to the M’s, the Rangers will dig deep and find a way to salvage one win in this series. Texas is looking up at Seattle and Houston in the AL West standings and a victory here would help shorten the rather wide gap that exists right now.

Young right-hander Glenn Otto will take the mound for the home team. In 2022, No. 49 has made 12 starts for the Lone Stars and been tapped for 34 earned runs and 51 hits in 55.2 innings. Otto whiffed 43 and walked 33 on his way to a 4-5 mark with a 5.50 ERA. Glenn’s last performance in this series was a good one too. Back on June 4th, Otto faced the M’s on this very same field and was nicked for only two earned runs and two hits in 5.0 innings of work. Glenn grabbed the dub in the Rangers 3-2 victory.

Righty Chris Flexen will counter for the visitors. So far this year, No. 77 has made 17 starts for the Mariners and was tapped for 41 earned runs and 100 hits in 96.0 innings of work. Flexen fanned 67 and issued 34 free passes on his way to a 6-8 record with a 3.84 ERA. The road has given Chris a little trouble this year too. As a guest, Flexen has been ripped for 23 earned runs and 53 hits in 54.2 frames. That shakes down to a 3-5 tally with a 3.79 ERA.

Respect is given to the M’s 13-game win streak. However, the Rangers have won 12 of its last 18 when coming off three or more losses over the past two years and they’re in prime position to pull off this upset. Take Texas with Otto. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
