Off back-to-back SU and ATS wins over the Shamrocks in Game 4 and Game 5, the Warriors will travel to Beantown and pull off this minor upset victory. Offensively, the Celtics are struggling right now (97 and 94 points in their last two battles), and they’ll have issues once again matched up against a Warriors squad that can score a number of different ways.
Technically speaking, this is a solid spot for the visitors. Surprisingly, in the NBA Finals, Game 6 road teams that hold a 3-2 advantage in the series own a lucrative 6-4 SU and 8-2 ATS record. Overall, Game 6 playoff guests that are up 3-2 in a best of seven series hold a profitable 76-55 SU and 80-51 ATS mark including a rewarding 62-30 SU and 61-31 ATS provided they are priced as a favorite or an underdog of +4 or less. (At press time, head coach Steve Kerr and his crew were right at the +4 mark so be sure to check the pointspread as gametime approaches to ensure that tightener still applies.)
This isn’t the best wagering situation for the Celtics either. As a non-conference host checking in off a pointspread loss, Boston has struggled inking a soft 30-54 SU and 31-52-1 ATS record in its last 84 games. In this role hitting the hardwood without confidence off two or more straight up losses, the Shamrocks fall to a miserable 8-22-1 ATS including a rough 6-21-1 ATS provided they are priced as an underdog or a favorite of -6.5 or less. Finally, as a home favorite of -4 or more, the Celtics hold a weak 17-25-1 ATS tally in their last 43 lined games.
Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry went 0-of-9 from behind the arc in Game 5 and the team shot 9-of-40. After that bricklayer performance, Curry will be the key to this series-clinching upset win. Take Golden State. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
