The Nuggets check in off a pair of straight up wins over the Raptors and Magic and they’ll have issues when they step up in class as a guest and battle the Warriors.
Revenge motivation will help fuel this wager too. Back on December 28th, Golden State (-8) hosted the Nuggets and lost a hard-fought 89-86 decision. Thankfully, even with that defeat, head coach Steve Kerr and his troops still own a respectable 22-14 SU and 19-15-2 ATS record in the last 36 meetings including an awesome 14-5 SU and 15-2-2 ATS provided Denver holds a team won/loss percentage of .532 or higher. Also, when competing with same season revenge, Golden State carries a profitable 22-9 SU and ATS mark in its last 31 tries and has quietly covered nine straight in this situation.
This isn’t the best wagering spot for the Nuggets either. As a guest arriving with confidence off two or more straight up wins, the Nuggets own a woeful 18-48 SU and 21-44-1 ATS mark provided they hold a team won/loss percentage of .501 or higher and their opponent owns a team won/loss percentage of .624 or better. In this role priced as an underdog of +3.5 or more, Denver falls to a disturbing 12-45 SU and 16-40-1 ATS in its last 57 tries.
