#901 NY METS with Megill (-104) over Philadelphia with Suarez at 4:05 PM EST
Off a pair of losses to the Phillies and Marlins and with blemishes in seven of their last nine games, the Mets will rally the troops and pick up a huge division road win on Saturday night. Thanks to yesterday’s blemish, New York is resting a half-game back of Philadelphia for the top spot in the NL East and the Boys from the Big Apple need this dub to regain the lead.

Rookie right-hander Tylor Megill with take the mound for the visitors. In his last outing at Miami, No. 38 was roughed up for four earned runs and six hits in only 5.0 innings of work. Megill fanned four, served up one home run, and was tagged with the loss in the Marlins 6-3 victory. Thankfully, with eight career starts in the bank, Tylor has posted some pretty good numbers. With 40.1 frames completed, Megill has surrendered only 12 earned runs and 34 hits. That shakes down to a 1-1 tally with a respectable 2.68.

The Phillies will send their left-handed closer Ranger Suarez to the mound. So far this season, No. 55 has appeared in 28 games (one start) and been touched for five earned runs and 21 hits in 43.1 frames. Suarez has whiffed 43 and walked 15 on his way to a 5-3 mark with a strong 1.04 ERA. Against the Mets, Ranger has pitched in eight games (one start) and assembled a soft 1-2 record with a feeble 5.11 ERA.

A handful of money-making team trends support this Best Bet too. New York has won six of its last eight as a guest facing a foe that holds a team won/loss percentage greater than .500, 16 of its last 23 overall when battling an opponent with a winning record, and seven of its last 10 in this series. On the other side of Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia has lost 21 of its last 30 after allowing just two runs or less in its last game.

After enjoying a three-month reign in first place in the division, the Mets will bounce right back to the top spot with a solid effort in this revenge battle. Take New York with Megill. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
