TOM STRYKER’S FREE BASKETBALL SELECTION MONDAY, MARCH 29TH
#569 DALLAS (-11) over Oklahoma City at 8 PM EST
Off back-to-back SU and ATS losses to Indiana and New Orleans, Dallas will get back on track with a solid performance over Oklahoma City. The Thunder limp into this contest off a pair of SU and ATS blemishes to the Grizzlies and Celtics and they don’t match up well in this contest at all.
A quick peek at the History Book shows that the Mavericks have dominated this series lately posting a proud 26-14 ATS if they are priced as a favorite or an underdog of +8 or less. Equally impressive, on the road, Dallas has been a cash cow lately posting a reliable 41-22-2 ATS mark in its last 65 games. In this run battling a conference foe, the Mavs jump to a proud 28-11-1 ATS including an elite 9-0 SU and ATS in this spot if they are favored by -4.5 or more.
Since February 16th, OKC has been in a bit of a funk notching a weak 8-11 SU and ATS tally in its last 19 games. Even worse, home dog roles have been tough on the Thunder lately too. When shagging points in its own backyard, Oklahoma City holds a weak 7-18 SU and 9-16 ATS mark in its last 25 games including a nasty 4-14 SU and 5-13 ATS if it is grabbing +4.5 or more. Finally, NBA home pups priced at +10 or more own a soft 10-50 SU and 23-35-2 ATS if their opponent takes the court off a SU and ATS loss.
The Mavs are scheduled to welcome back Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis to the lineup and they’ll have no trouble roasting the Thunder with those two athletes on the floor. Take Dallas. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
