New Mexico enters this Mountain West Conference Tournament game off back-to-back SU and ATS wins over Utah State and San Jose State and the Lobos are ripe for a whipping.
It certainly won’t take anything to get USU fired up for this battle. In its last regular season game at UNM, the Aggies were an eight-point favorite and lost outright 66-64. Thankfully, revenging MWC teams that are battling in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament hold a respectable 24-15 ATS record provided they check in without confidence off a straight up loss. If our “play on” side is matched up against an opponent that is seeded at No. 4 or less, this conference tournament angle improves to a solid 22-12 ATS.
