#744 BUTLER (-) over St. Johns at 7 PM EST
With confidence off an impressive 18-point home win and cover over DePaul and with plenty of work still ahead, Butler will stay hot and cash another ticket when St. John’s comes to town on Wednesday evening. The Red Storm enter this contest off a massive home upset win over the Bluejays and this trip to Hinkle Fieldhouse will be a tough one.

Clinging to an 8-3 SU and 7-3-1 ATS mark, BU has certainly played well in its last 11 games in this series. In Nap Town, the Bulldogs have performed even better notching a golden 5-0 SU and ATS tally in the last five battles. Equally impressive, at home on Senior Night, Butler has been worth a wager notching a respectable 19-2 SU and 12-8-1 ATS in its last 21 tries. Finally, in their own backyard arriving off the comforts of a home game, the Bulldogs own a lucrative 48-11 SU and 35-19 ATS mark including a sensational 37-3 SU and 27-9 ATS in this set running the court against an opponent that holds a team won/loss percentage less than .750.

Kudos to St. John’s for stunning Creighton in its last contest. Unfortuantely, the Red Storm will revert right back to their losing ways here. Before that victory, St. John’s was on a dismal 3-12 SU (7-7-1 ATS) run in its previous 15 games. To make matters worse, in true road wars, the Red Storm hold a dismal 16-44 SU and 25-33-2 ATS tally in their last 60 tries including a soft 12-34 SU and 15-29-2 ATS if they’re fighting a foe that owns a team won/loss percentage of .800 or worse. With those two parameters live and head coach Mike Anderson’s boys priced as a dog of +11 or less, this team trend falls to a nasty 4-25 SU and 8-20-1 ATS.

The Bulldogs defense limited the Blue Demons to just 42 total points in Saturday’s victory. Rest assured, the 12th-ranked scoring “D” in the nation (62.1 ppg) will help key this blowout win too. Take Butler. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
