TOM STRYKER’S FREE BASKETBALL SELECTION SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16TH
#820 MICHIGAN (-) over Indiana at 1 PM EST
Playing with plenty of confidence off back-to-back SU and ATS wins over Michigan State and Northwestern, Michigan will do a number on visiting Indiana. The Hoosiers make the trek to Ann Arbor off their 89-77 blowout home win and cover over the Hawkeyes and they’ll be in serious trouble here.
A quick glance at the History Book shows that UM has dominated IU in the last six meetings posting a solid 6-0 SU and ATS record. In addition, when hosting a Big 10 opponent that arrives off a SU and ATS win, the Maize and Blue have been a reliable investment posting a strong 50-25-1 ATS record. If head coach Juwan Howard’s boys take the floor off a straight up win, this team trend cruises to a lucrative 22-4-1 ATS. Equally impressive, as a conference host going into revenge, the Wolverines have been a cash cow notching a strong 81-19 SU and 64-36 ATS mark including a money-making 43-8 SU and 36-15 ATS provided they are running the floor with four or more days of rest.
Fading Indiana on the road won’t be a problem either. As a Big 10 guest arriving with plenty of steam off a double-digit straight up win, the Hoosiers own a woeful 24-50 SU and 23-50-1 ATS record. In this situation battling an opponent that hits the hardwood off two or more straight up wins, IU falls to a woeful 4-20 SU and 4-19-1 ATS including a horrible 1-10 SU and 0-11 ATS provided the Big Red own a team won/loss percentage of .700 or less. Also, as a guest taking the court off the comforts of two or more home games, Indiana has been at its financial worst lately notching a stiff 4-15 SU and ATS mark in its last 19 games including a shocking 0-15 SU and 1-14 ATS in this set fighting a foe that holds a team won/loss percentage of .500 or better. As long as their opponent is not on a 3-0 SU and ATS run or better, this situation falls to a woeful 0-14 ATS!
Coach Howard has the Maize and Blue rolling again and they’re playing solid basketball especially on the defensive end of the floor. The Wolverines will be too much for the poor-traveling Hoosiers in the end. Take Michigan. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.

Stryker posted a 2-2 ATS mark on his Saturday ticket picking up nice wins on Kent and Colorado. Unfortunately, he lost his top-rated 5* on St. Mary’s thanks to a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
