#689 BYU (-) over Loyola Marymount at 11 PM EST
Cruising along off four straight up wins over Pepperdine, St. Mary’s, Portland and San Francisco, BYU will stay hot when it visits Los Angeles on Thursday evening. The Lions enter this WCC war off four consecutive straight up losses and they just don’t match up well in this game at all!

A quick glance at the History Book shows that the Cougars have dominated this series lately notching a solid 13-1 SU and 7-5 ATS mark in the last 14 meetings. Equally impressive, when priced as a double-digit favorite and running the floor against a foe that arrives off a straight up loss, the Stormin’ Mormons have been worth the wager posting a proud 69-42-2 ATS record. In this role competing against a foe that was an underdog in their last game, this situation improves to a lucrative 59-30-1 ATS. Also, as a double-digit road favorite, the Blue & White hold a reliable 25-13 ATS tally in their last 38 lined games including 16-5 ATS if they played in the comforts of home last.

This is an awful spot for Loyola Marymount. According to my notes, the Lions hold a horrible 59-94-3 ATS mark at home when checking in without confidence off a straight up loss. In this role battling an opponent that scoots in off two or more straight up wins, LMU falls to a woeful 8-31 SU and 10-27-1 ATS. In addition, West Coast Conference home dogs that hit the hardwood without confidence off two or more straight up losses hold an ugly 91-128-1 ATS record. If our “play against” host is fighting a foe that played in the comforts of home last, this situation drops to a woeful 39-69 ATS including 25-51 ATS if their opponent owns four or more days of rest.

The second-place Cougars own a one-game advantage over third-place Pacific and St. Mary’s and they need this victory in order to hold on to that important edge in the conference standings. Remember, the top two seeds in the WCC get a bye right to the semifinals of the conference tournament. Take BYU. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.

After ripping apart Thursday’s hardwood card, Stryker uncovered a conference bear in a phenomenal 18-0 ATS situation and this technical gem will key this absolute roast. Outstanding home versus road dichotomy will provide the assist too. Grab Tom’s CBB Perfect Database Wager for $25.
